End of Season Social and Presentation Evening

Thank you to all those who came to our end of season social and presentation evening on Thursday, but particular thanks to Christian Fell and his colleagues for hosting the evening at Michael Page. A few adjourned to a nearby hostelry afterwards and I left them to it at 9.30pm, so I hope that heads weren’t too sore on Friday morning!

To summarise, our Champions this year were:

• Men’s Champion: Steven Henderson, EY Transaction Advisory Services

• Runner-up: John Williams, EY Transaction Advisory Services

• Ladies’ Champion: Sophie Sasimowicz, Lopian Gross Barnett & Co

• Runner-up: Jane Thomas, Grant Thornton

• Team Champions: EY Transaction Advisory Services

• Runners-up: Lopian Gross Barnett & Co

There was strong talk during the evening of teams from Deloitte and Michael Page being readied for next year to challenge EY. Given the size of some of the firms that some of you are at (e.g. GT, RSM, HSBC etc.) then I hope that we’ll have a few more entering too! I look forward to the team prize being fiercely contested in 2016.
